Ok... This is quite a detailed contract for something that she did just the night before...
Her terms are that whatever she had earned before coming to our Family remained solely hers and any business she opens after joining our family will be jointly owned by both herself and our Family with each side owning a fifty percent share. Profits will be split at the end of every quarter and we are to give her full autonomy in her businesses. In return, she would only use her own assets to do business and in the event that she has to borrow our assets to do business, she will compensate us the appropriate fee for making use of those assets in full.
I raised an eyebrow at her, "I kind of feel like you're demanding quite a bit with this?"
She shrugged, "My family will definitely choose not to antagonise you to get me and all I need is the Nilm Family at my back to start doing business again. I'm using my own assets so the risk for me is much higher than it is for you guys. All you have to do is name me as one of your people and that's about it."
"Uh-huh... I suppose I'll have to bring this back to let Mother decide on it though... Seeing as I'm not the head of the Family after all."

She pointed at the table, "Aren't you kind of doing that now? Is there a need to reject the position and go out on your own?"
"That's because I have no idea when I would return back to Mother's side. Besides... I'd rather not have the people I meet see me as the heir of the Nilm Family but rather just Aster instead."
Emilia grimaced, "Ugh... I understand... This would delay some of my plans a bit but I suppose I can adapt to it..."
I folded the contract and placed it into my Pack of Folding, which I would bring back home for Mother to see afterwards.
"So anything else I should know?" I asked.

"I'm not sure but I'm planning to attend the slave exhibition happening the day after tomorrow."

I shrugged, "I've already said this but I'm not the one looking for slaves here. I'm just going there for the experience."

I'll actually recommend you to attend the combat slave exhibition, there are quite a number of proficient slaves there that you might consider obtaining. Our conversation was cut again when footsteps came from behind once again and the slave girl returned with another tray in hand, this time laden with food.
Since our purposes for this meeting was pretty much dealt with, we simply enjoyed the food that was made for us.
I'm not gonna lie, Emilia wasn't kidding when she said the food here was good so there's that at least.
