Chapter 613: We Got A Little Serious
I'm not gonna lie, I was not expecting to meet that much resistance from these guys especially since they were all complaining about me cheating before this.
I guess I shouldn't have underestimated them like that.
The merchant guy scoffed from the other side of the arena, intentionally raising his voice just so that I could hear him speak.
"I knew it, the entire team is just filled with frauds. They definitely cheated to get here."
The Mercenary nodded beside him, "Can't even deal with a simple combo like that. Truly pathetic."

"Everyone! Get serious!" I shouted out from below the stage.
Not that they weren't trying from the start but they were obviously not using their full strength against them.
All of them nodded at me and turned back to face the team in front of them with renewed determination.
I wondered if I should use any of my spells right now but I decided against it since they should be able to handle it now that I told them to get serious.
Odeta once again charged towards their tank while buffing her fist and the Mahun on the other side scoffed at her before bracing himself behind his shield, probably thinking that it was going to end up the same way as before.
But right before she reached him, Eins had buffed her with [Strength] and another layer of [Body Current] to further increase her strength.
When her fist met with his shield, the armoured Mahun found his shield being pushed back against him and his armour creaked audibly right before he was sent flying back.
The Wrunch had been standing behind the tank and definitely did not expect his team mate to be sent flying like that, so he didn't even get to prepare himself before the Mahun crashed into him and sent both of them rolling away.
Odeta did not stop there as she rushed towards the Amrap who was gaping at their tank in shock, the other Amrap barely returning to her senses in time to react to her attack.
She tried to swing her axe at Odeta but the younger Amrap got to her first before she could complete her swing.
Odeta's hand shot out to grab her opponent's wrist, stopping the axe from reaching her before she gave the other Amrap a kick in the side.
The other Amrap would have been sent flying from the enhanced kick but Odeta pulled her back to give her a punch in the face, causing the woman to stumble back and losing her grip on her axes.
Their Trasif tried to conjure a ball of fire to send towards Odeta but a [Laser] was shot towards her before she could, forcing her to defend herself instead lest the laser eviscerated her.
Despite being beaten up like that, their Amrap was still in the fight despite looking to be quite unsteady on her feet.
The Wrunch stood by her side and held his warhammer with both hands, the two of them standing against my team of five.
They still had the look on their faces that they did not believe they were going to lose just yet so I wasn't sure if that was just pure stubbornness on their part or they still had something up their sleeve.
Either way, I just prepared myself to cast any spell that might be needed to counter whatever they have up their sleeves.
The Wrunch then nodded at the Amrap and they suddenly split up, the Wrunch running to the right while the Amrap limped towards the left.
Odeta immediately leapt after the Amrap, obviously aiming to finish what she had started which was expected of her.
The others simply watched the Wrunch warily as he tried to flank towards the side before heading towards Lisa.
Seems like he was trying to get rid of our mage? Maybe he wanted to force me to use up my support to revive her? So he was aiming to be some kind of martyr or something?
Just as I thought of that, he suddenly turned back and leapt over Delmare and Katsuki, clearing over their heads so that when he landed he was facing all of them once again.
I then realised he had specifically positioned himself so that the edge of the arena was behind the girls and they were thus in danger of being pushed out.
When he raised his warhammer into the air, I knew exactly what he was intending to do right there.
"[Tremor--"
"[Static Bolt]!" I shouted, just to mask the fact that I did not need to chant.
The projectile hit the Wrunch before he could put his hammer down, paralysing him in the position where he had his hammer raised in the air.
Katsuki and Delmare immediately rushed forward and cut him down, my Siren stabbing him with her rapier while Katsuki slashed at his throat with her daggers.
His eyes were still wide open with surprise before he got teleported out of the arena, the Wrunch falling onto his knees the moment he found himself outside.
The Amrap realised that their plan had failed and tried to rush at Odeta in what I assume to be an attempt to throw her out of the arena with her. But unfortunately for her, Odeta caught her by the hands and with Eins buffing her strength, remained unmoving despite her opponent crashing into her.
She then lifted the Amrap up and threw her out instead, and I don't even need to be an Amrap to know that this probably humiliated the Amrap pretty badly.
