HP: The Moon Over the Magic Academy

Chapter 118, Lesson 118 of Prophecy

Chapter 118, Lesson 118 of Prophecy

The classroom was getting fuller and fuller, and Draco couldn't help but complain, "Why isn't the professor who teaches prophecy here yet?"

"Sybill Trelawney? The Professor of Prophecy? She should be here by now, right?" Hermione chimed in.

This classroom is peculiar; in fact, it looks like a combination of an attic and an old-fashioned teahouse.

About twenty small round tables were crammed into the classroom.

Many crystal balls and glass items were covered with a tattered cloth.

Landric couldn't help but recall a video he'd seen online in his previous life: the witch's crystal ball had to be covered, otherwise it would easily focus light and cause a fire.

If a fire were to occur, Hogwarts' current cash flow would not be sufficient to build another classroom and prepare teaching equipment.

After all, since the beginning of last semester, the Board of Trustees has been strictly controlling Hogwarts' cash flow.

Previously, the school board would give Hogwarts whatever it wanted.

Landric suddenly remembered that Hogwarts' access was originally opened to everyone with Dumbledore as witness.

He has made a magical vow to keep the school permanently open and not to interfere with any of Hogwarts's authority.

However, Slytherin always has to seek some benefits, so he swore that he had done something to hide some special rooms.

Landric also hid those unexplored secret rooms.

In general, he is still the one who owns Hogwarts, and his family and the Malfoy family make up the majority of the board of trustees.

Landric tugged at Draco and whispered, "Little Dragon, you said Hogwarts should be mine, right?"

Draco: "Brother, I have no idea what's wrong with you right now."

Didn't we agree that Hogwarts would be released?

"But I also think Hogwarts is yours." Since his brother said that, there must be a reason.

"Yes, that's right." Since Draco said so, Hogwarts must be his.

Hermione looked at Landric with agreement.

Harry didn't hear clearly, but he mimicked Hermione's expression and looked at Landric, which gave Landric goosebumps.

Landric: Aren't you guys acting a little too strange?

However, his attention was diverted by a voice that suddenly came from the shadows, a soft and indistinct voice.

"Welcome," the muffled voice sounded somewhat jarring at the moment, "It's so good to finally see you in the tangible world."

Sybil Trelawney's first impression on everyone was that of a radiant being.

She stood in the bright firelight, and looked very thin.

"Sit down, children, all of you, sit down."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were inexplicably drawn to sit at a round table.

"I am Professor Trelawney. You haven't seen me before, but you will see me soon."

She looked a little neurotic, and no one said anything.

"You chose Divination, which is undoubtedly the most difficult of all magical arts courses. If you don't have the talent... then there's very little I can teach you, and in this respect, I'm powerless..."

Harry couldn't help but look at Hermione, who was also quite surprised; prophecy required talent.

"boy!"

Trelawney suddenly moved to Neville's side. "How is your grandmother?"

"Okay...okay," poor Neville said, his voice trembling.

"If I were you, I wouldn't be so certain of a conclusion, darling."

"This year we need to learn various basic divination methods. The first semester will focus on interpreting tea leaves, and next semester we will learn palmistry."

Palmistry? Landric couldn't help but think that he seemed to have read palms before.

So, is this a combination of East and West?

"By the summer semester, we will have finished learning about the crystal ball. Of course, if we have already learned about the signs of fire, then you will unfortunately find that in February, a severe flu will come here, and then everyone will have to cancel classes."

Landric's eyes lit up.

Which student wouldn't be tempted by the news of school closures?

"Brother, calm down, your eyes are looking too eager."

"Oh"

Trelawney moved to Raven's side. "Darling, could you hand me the biggest teapot?"

Lavender visibly relaxed, stood up, took the largest teapot from the shelf, and handed it to Trelawney.

"Thank you, darling. By the way, the thing you're most afraid of will happen next Saturday!"

LaVine's hand trembled slightly.

"Now, I want you all to divide into groups, take a teacup from the shelf, come to me, I'll pour tea into the cup, you drink it all, leaving only tea leaves in the cup. Shake the tea leaves three times with your left hand, then turn the teacup upside down on the saucer, and finally interpret the shape of the tea leaves for your partner."

"Oh, I forgot to mention, the instructions on interpreting the shape of tea leaves are on pages five and six of the textbook."

Landric, having nothing better to do, did as Trelawney instructed.

"Come on, Xiaolong, explain it to your brother."

Draco looked annoyed, but he started reading seriously.

"The divination says my brother is someone favored by Merlin." (A serious fabrication.)

Landric looked at Draco with a smile, "Little Dragon, so cute."

Draco felt a chill run down his spine. What kind of adjective is "cute"?

The two people are harmonious and happy.

Just as Neville walked to the shelf where the teacups were placed, he heard the sound of porcelain shattering.

Professor Trelawney rushed over with a broom, attracting most of the attention.

Draco asked nervously, "Brother, wouldn't you call this the 'poisonous honest guy' you mentioned before?"

Landric stared speechlessly at the golden retriever bursting with curiosity, while out of the corner of his eye he noticed Neville's ears quietly perking up.

He pushed Draco aside with one hand and said, "Neville is just an honest man; he has nothing to do with poison."

The honest child secretly breathed a sigh of relief and slowly moved away from the center of attention.

Harry and Hermione's teacups were already full of water, and for some reason, they were grouped with Ron again.

They returned to their respective tables, and Harry and Ron slurped their tea while blowing on it, trying to finish it as quickly as possible.

Hermione stared coldly at the two idiots.

Tea should be shaken slowly; if you are impatient, the flavor will dissipate.

"alright."

Ron turned to pages five and six.

"What did you see in my teacup?"

Hermione looked at the bottom of Ron's cup.

To some extent, as long as Ron doesn't do anything stupid, she's still willing to talk to him.

"The threads wrapped around you"

Ron: ? ?

Professor Trelawney looked over, and Ron and Hermione looked in Harry's cup in unison.

This seems to be a common problem among students; they always act like they are very busy when the teacher looks over.

"That looks like a top hat; perhaps you'll be working for the Ministry of Magic in the future."

Harry turned the teacup to the other side.

"It looks like a cow... and a horse..."

"So I'm a cow or a horse?"

"Hahahahahahahahaha," Draco's laughter sounded extremely grating to Harry's ears.

"Hey, Malfoy, why are you always paying so much attention to me?"

Draco laughed so hard he clutched his stomach and leaned on Landric's shoulder.

Landric slapped it. "That's a falcon, you idiot."

Draco laughed even louder.

"Falcon? Mortal enemy! Hahahahahaha..."

Landric was truly exasperated with Draco, who seemed terrified that there might be even the slightest possibility of improving his relationship with the Savior.
