'Are you fucking kidding me?' Erix internally cursed as he glanced at dead bodies around him and Rin.
Those three idiots actually died with one attack from the first-class member man after they launched their combo attack to kill those four second-class men.
'This was their fucking opening act? Kill and then die? But that man has powerful flame-attacks that can one shot kill.'
Although it was 2v2, the opponents were tough to kill as they were focusing on defense and buying time.
"You won't be able to kill us and steal the fruits before the reinforcement arrives," the woman spoke, her voice hoarse.
"Leave or die," the man grunted.
"Give us a fruit if you want us to leave," Erix ferociously grinned. "Or die."
Rin glanced around before immediately launching a Lightning Blade Slash from both her katanas as an x-shaped condensed lightning projectile shot toward them.
The woman was ready as a golden rectangle shield appeared before her, blocking the attack entirely as lightning blades dispersed after crashing into the shield.
"For your information, lightning-type attacks are weak against holy-type defenses," the woman snorted. "My holy-type shield won't break with your attacks."
Erix narrowed his eyes while glancing at Rin to signal, and she understood.
Both of them shot forward—Rin towards the woman and Erix towards the man.
The brown-black-haired man was also in focus. Upon seeing Erix dashing towards him, he opened both of his palms as flame tendrils shot out and danced around him, ready to attack incoming Erix.
'This bastard has a unique style of fighting in melee with his flame whips, but it won't matter against Rin,' Erix thought.
Erix's fists glowed and roared while Rin's lightning blade tore the air and crackled.
They didn't have time, so they went all out in their attacks.
As Rin and Erix were just a few meters away from the enemies, Erix abruptly stopped with his metal control, dug his feet into the ground, and then blasted strength from his feet at full force as he shot toward the woman.
*BOOM!*
His instantaneous burst of speed exerted all of his physical strength, and the Sling Shot Punch that crashed into the woman's shield broke her defense as it cracked like glass shattering.
Meanwhile, Rin took that chance as she charged her body with lightning, enhancing her cells and physical parameters as she blitzed towards the woman, her sword sweeping horizontally at her neck.

"You did indeed," Erix smiled and kissed her lips.
Rin flew with Erix like streaks of lightning drawing on the sky, feeling immensely more powerful than before!
"I can't wait to enter Limitless Plane and create some interesting skills!"
"Show me the description of your affinity," Erix curiously inquired.
Both of them landed on another mountain a few kilometers away before Rin sat on his lap, locked her arms around his neck, and showed him the description of the second realm of lightning affinity.
"Lightning Physique? Interesting. Haha, now that you crossed the hurdle, I can't stay behind too long."
"I am sure you will reach there today, darling~."
"Humph, of course," Erix playfully snorted before pecking her lips while grinning. "Don't you know I have a sexy and motivating teacher to help me?"
Rin laughed in joy before she stood up and took out some food. "Come, my dear student. Let me feed you some sushi."
