Erix was surprised.

Lily paused for a bit before she continued with a wry smile, "And then the wife of that old man came to that house and took me in."
"Wait, what?" Erix was taken aback. "You killed an old man, and his wife helped you?"
"Yes. She helped me recover until I turned twenty-two. After that, she died of a heart attack, and I also killed myself."
"Why did she help you?" Erix curiously asked.
"Who knows? I never asked," Lily shrugged. "But she was the most important person to me because she loved me despite seeing her husband's dead body in the room. After she died, I was lost again and just didn't feel like living, so I joined her."
"Alas, I ended up in this Abyss, and Lady Lilith picked me up. She recovered my body, cured me, and I became the first member of her Dark Troupe."
"Wait, that's all?" Erix raised his eyebrows.

After two hours, Lilith returned to the mansion and went to the bedroom. She glanced from the window and saw that Erix was still busy with his Magsmithing and didn't bother him.
Lilith sat down on a chair at the window while waiting for Rin to wake up because she knew that Rin would wake up anytime now.
And after around half an hour, Rin indeed woke up as she stretched her limbs. With a big and refreshed smile on her face, she opened her eyes.
"Good morning, although it's not morning."
Rin turned to the sound and was about to speak before she noticed another person beside her, "Lily?"
"What happened to her?"
"She was sucked dry by Erix," Lilith wry smile, "But Erix is in a big trouble."
"Big trouble?" Rin frowned. "Why?"
Lilith proceeded to tell Erix's situation to her as Rin's expression remained in a frown for a while before it turned into a shocked and terrified face at the end since Lilith only told the consequences at the end.
"He will become a skeleton?! No fucking way," Rin shook her head. "That can never happen. I can't let my Erix reduce to a bunch of bones. Where are those girls with Life-attributed bloodlines? Let's go find them."
"Chill, honey. The girls I am talking about have big status. I am not sure if they exist yet, but they should exist somewhere in the core domain," Lilith said.
"Who are you talking about exactly?" Rin curiously asked.
"Elves. There's a community of Elves in the core domain. There are also Nature Elves who are born with innate bloodlines, and the most pure ones would have Life-attributed bloodlines. We have to go there and see if there are any developed girls with Life-attributed bloodlines who are not taken yet and add them to our darling's harem."
