Chapter 295: Joining the Faction, Blessed Island
Chapter 295: Joining the Faction, Blessed Island
The group arrived in the central region of Core Domain after seven hours of full-speed travel in the Airship.
The central region had branches of Cosmic Factions, and all other big guilds and organizations.
Lilith had enemies there, but her enemies didn't know she had returned for revenge.
"We'll first book a private cottage at one of the resorts on Paradise Mountains. That's where people with money stay during their business days here."
"Afterward, we'll visit your infamous cosmic faction, Unbound Star," Lilith smiled.
Everyone was on the deck as they listened to Lilith informing them about the most important region of the Kalaanx Abyss while traveling at moderate speed to look at the various areas in the region.
After ten minutes, the Airship arrived at Paradise Mountains.
The whole mountain range was like a blanket of mountains filled with exotic wooden, crystal, and metal structures, each mountain having its unique aesthetic designs on structures.
Some had ambient atmosphere and biome, some were gritty and gloomy, while some had hellish inferno biome-related structures.
Each mountain essentially had a mountain town, but for all for business, entertainment, and mainly temporary residency exotic natures due to myriad Races in the Abyss.
"The best one is that Heavenly Cloud Town. We'll stay at a resort's private cottage there."
The Heavenly Cloud town had aesthetic exotic wooden structures and a beneficial environment for one to practice and meditate for improvement at various facilities.
This town was in the range of five top-tier towns among the other thirty Mountain Towns.
After arriving there and booking a cottage, Lilith took the group to the Unbound Star cosmic faction.
Each cosmic faction was in a private territory with a different form of outer-structure. For example,
The Galactic Knight cosmic faction had a palace, while the Unbound Star cosmic faction had a big mansion.
However, each cosmic faction had advanced teleport formations and a gateway to their hub territory where members of the rest of the cosmic faction's branches interacted.
When Erix and others arrived at the Unbound Star's mansion, it was full of peaceful noise—birds chirping and wind rustling.
But nothing other than that.
"Wow, this is really as dead as everyone said," Erix laughed.
"Let's knock on that gate. We might see someone," Rin wryly smiled as the group soon arrived before the mansion's outer gate.
Rin was about to knock on the metal gate before it suddenly opened and welcomed everyone into the outer garden of the mansion.
"Welcome," Tenebria's avatar smiled as she stood there, her long exquisite black hair flowing, and her outfit was the usual black layered dress with dark blue and dark orange embroidery design, sleek and faintly shining.
"There are a few people inside, but they are also just avatars. Be at east with your usual self here. Come."
The group followed Tenebria inside, and entered the mansion, which turned out to be bigger than what it seemed from outside.
The space was expanded within, making Erix raise an eyebrow as he could feel and see the structure due to his 3rd realm Space affinity.
"Let's register you first," Tenebria said and turned to the group after arriving before a central desk in the first hall.
She turned to Aria and others before smiling, "If any of you are interested, I'll make you members too. The more the merrier for us."
"I want to join!" Aria said as she raised her hand while grinning.
"Yes. We will also join," Lilith smiled. "It's better to stay under one faction, and I believe we can make do with your infamous Spiritual Art."
...
The group returned to the resort cottage afterward.
"Let's quickly use our Limitless Plane session since the day is going to end in two hours," Erix wryly smiled.
Time passed quickly, and they hadn't entered the Limitless Plane on their way here, so time was tight.
"Lily and Aria can use the Virtual Training facility here to create skills. Come, I'll join you and help," Lilith smiled. "I also need to improve myself."
"We'll join you once we finish our session," Erix nodded.
"What do I do?" Maleina asked.
"You should also join us in the training," Lilith thoughtfully said. "It wouldn't help if you are weak after all. Come."
...
Rin and Erix sat in meditation, entering Limitless Plane while the others used the Virtual Training Facility present in this highest-tier cottage.
"Erix, where do we start?" Rin asked as she and Erix floated in the sky, overlooking the vast expanse of oceans and islands.
"Hmm, let's start by perfecting that 3rd release of Destruction and end the session finishing mastering 4th release," Erix said.
"And then we will incorporate this Four Release of Destruction technique into our own Combat forms?" Rin smiled. "Great."
"Mhmm, we've seen examples of how broad and eccentric Tier-5 skills can be, so let's upgrade our skills to that level."
The duo started training and practicing regarding this unique skill-set called Four Release of Destruction, a Battlecraft Art Rune that Erix got from Howling Tombs.
First Release: Celestial Spiral Wave.
Second Release: Harrowing Spirit Crush.
Third Release: Black Point Serenade.
Fourth Release: Ruined Arcane Lance.
It was said that executing these four releases in sequence would release a unique destructive attack in the 4th release.
The sequences could be changed to display four different final destructive attacks.
Although Rin and Erix were not interested in that, they still wanted to see how it all worked and learn about it to use it in their own way.
The duo had enough power sources like Elements, Concepts, and other things like Talent, class's source, but as they ascended to Royal-order, they had to improve their skills.
Using Tier-3 equivalent skills would be less impactful in high-tier combat of Royal-order, which they would experience in the upcoming event.
The cosmic faction members and other talented and powerful individuals would also participate in this event due to the juicy reward—a Blessed Island.
A Blessed Island was something that could be upgraded, shaped, and evolved at massive consumption of resources, but the benefits it gave were immense as well.
It could be a powerful base for a guild, capable of traveling since it was a floating island. It could also house different biomes and regions, tailoring it for different powers.
Adding sources and upgrading the island would also allow to grow natural resources, making elemental zones, and much more at higher levels.
However, each Blessed Island had something called Blessed Core. This core was the most important thing on a Blessed Island.
Once destroyed, it would make everything on the island cease to function, including its various benefits, and break down the island within an hour.
But the aid it provided was nothing to scoff at, which was why everyone, including top forces, competed for events that rewarded a Blessed Island.
